Working on the IPads 6-22-2015

Greetings friends! So, we got planner app for the iPads this week and spent a lot of the time putting in people's information and trying to figure out how to use it to plan. My companion is not a fan ... I can see why though! The app is much different from the paper planners we're used to and the way the app is set up its a little difficult to use. We'll get it though! Just gonna take some time.
Had a pretty good week otherwise! We had a city building inspector come into our apartment to check it out and at the end of his little inspection he asked us about president Monson and for some reason thought that he was Indian, not Native American, but South Asia Indian. We showed him a picture to set him straight and Elder Torres offered him a Book of Mormon, but he wasn't interested, just curious. We've been having some seriously good lessons with a less active lady that we found, it's awesome how willing she is to act and to turn to God for all of her troubles. She has an awesome amount of faith and it's really cool to hear her talk about her testimony growing.
Other than that it was a pretty mellow week, had some catholic background investigators try talking to is about rapture, and there was a sweet story that one of the Elders told in a meeting with the new missionaries and their trainers. So this Elder told us about how in their area there is this guy they see pretty often who tries to convince them that the Book of Mormon isn't true, so usually they just tell him they haven't changed their mind yet and move on. But they were teaching two of their investigators, a father and a daughter, in the street and as he turned from the daughter to look towards the father this anti guy had the father off to the side and was talking to him trying to tell him that the Book of Mormon isn't true. So the investigator's response to this guy was "you don't know what the hell you're talking about, I've felt it's true and I can't deny it." Freaking awesome! That's a solid investigator right there.
